Operation Bring Animals Home Search & Rescue Team
OBAH is an animal search and rescue team made up of a multitude of professional volunteers. OBAH was formed just days after Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf coast in 2005. Not only did we make over 10 trips to the affected areas, but we remain a staple in the heart of the shelters of LA. After our work on the streets, we decided to adopt 2 shelters outside New Orleans....the animals have just 2-3 days on adoption row at which point they are put into a gas-chamber if not rescued or adopted. Please help us continue saving the animals!
Although we are an animals search and rescue team, we also take the time to rescue animals from kill shelters in Louisiana and Mississippi. We decided that when we are not dealing with a disaster situation, we have the ability to still help....Check out the Adoption Page to see if there is an animal who will love you unconditionally!
